CANCELLATION POLICY
For your convenience we send SMS reminders for all appointments. When an appointment is cancelled without giving us enough notice, it may prevent us from seeing another patient who needs to be seen.
Appointments
We understand that there may be times where you are unable to attend your appointment. We are experiencing very busy days which can result in us being booked out and having to turn some patients away. We ask that you please cancel your appointment in a timely manner. This will avoid impacting the health of other pets who need to be seen.
If you do need to cancel your pet’s appointment, please notify us more than 12 hours before by calling our clinic on 6341 3113 or by replying to your appointment reminder SMS.
If you fail to show, or if you cancel your appointment less than 12 hours before your appointment, you will be charged a cancellation fee of $25. This fee will be charged directly to your account. Repeated late cancellations or appointment failures may require us to seek prepayment for appointments.
We understand that delays can happen however we must try to keep our patients and veterinarians running on time. If a patient arrives after their scheduled appointment time, we may need to cancel your appointment and you will be charged a fee.
It is part of the nature of our business that we do see emergencies. If you have booked a wellness appointment (vaccination or health check), and an emergency arrives, we may ask you to wait or we may need to reschedule your appointment. Please understand that animal welfare is our top priority and we will always triage appropriately. Thank you for your understanding.
Surgery
We understand that there are times when you must miss a surgery appointment due to emergencies or obligations for work or family. However, when you do not call to cancel your appointment, you may be preventing another patient from being seen by our clinic. Similarly, the situation may arise where another patient fails to cancel and we are unable to schedule you for a visit due to a ‘full’ appointment schedule.
If you do need to cancel your pet’s procedure please notify us more than 48 hours before by calling our clinic on 6341 3113 or by replying to your appointment reminder SMS.
If you fail to show, or if you cancel your appointment less than 48 hours before your appointment, you will be charged a cancellation fee of $50. This fee will be charged directly to your account. Repeated late cancellations or appointment failures may require us to seek prepayment for surgeries.
